 When I was younger and totally into downhill mountain biking, every top rider seemed to be sponsored by Oakley or similar. I coveted them and only wished I could afford a set, up until a guy in the industry told me that the "flow" riders - the ones they sent product to just to use them as human mannequins but didn't actually sponsor - tended to wear similar-looking safety glasses for their training or practice runs because those were more robust and cheaply replaceable.

 Reminds me of that one video he had of a bike lock somebody sent in because a locksmith had to wreck the lock and the person that hired him called LPL a hack. The dude bet the locksmith LPL could get it open faster. The total time of the video was longer than the locksmith took, but LPL spent like 2/3s of the video setting up the story before absolutely flexing.  Like many of my Cool, I Googled My Symptoms Turned Out I Just Need To Cuddle My Trucker Flower Shirt coworkers, I am struggling with my mental health now, but I’m afraid to seek help because it may put me out of work. I admit, I love my doctor too but I make enough that healthcare has never been an issue for me.
